Harness the power of your Breath
My journey started out as a Paramedic in London. For years, I cared for others through their hardest moments. I loved the work, but the frequent exposure to trauma eventually took its toll.
I found myself living with burnout, PTSD and anxiety. I felt disconnected from myself, unable to cope with everyday life, and completely dependent on therapy sessions just to make it through the week.
In search of something that integrated a body-based approach I attended my first breathwork session. I was blown away by what my breath alone had created. I softened, I shook, I cried. I let go of what I’d been carrying for so long. And for the first time, I felt safe in my own body.
Hi I’m Izzy,
I felt so passionate about what I’d discovered, I left my job as a paramedic and followed the pull toward something that felt aligned and nourishing.
Now, as a fully qualified Breathwork Facilitator I have the honor of guiding others through it.
If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck or like you're carrying a lot, you're so welcome here. There's nothing to fix, just a calm, kind space to come home to yourself.

What do I offer?
Free 15-minute discovery call — All new clients are advised to book a discovery call first. It gives us a chance to connect, talk through what’s bringing you to breathwork, and explore whether working together feels right for you. There’s no pressure to continue afterwards. We’ll simply see together whether you’d like to move forward.
Initial consultation & breathwork session — We’ll explore your intentions, complete a health questionnaire, understand what your body and nervous system need, and move into a guided breathwork session at a pace that feels right for you.
Ongoing breathwork & integration — Follow-up sessions offer space to continue exploring, process what arises and deepen your connection with yourself, with each session guided by what you need in the moment.
I completed Alchemy of Breath’s 400-hour Breathwork Facilitation Training, and I bring that together with my experience as a Paramedic and everything I have learnt through my own healing journey. Blending the Science and the Spiritual gives me a unique understanding of what’s happening in your body.
I can explain why your heart races, why your breath tightens or why you feel numb, and I can also guide you to meet those sensations with softness rather than fear.
My focus is always on what your nervous system needs. That might be more energy and movement, or it might be stillness and rest. We’ll listen together and let your body set the pace.
Frequently asked questions

I currently offer in-person breathwork sessions from my home in Whitby, Yorkshire.

Breathwork is generally gentle and accessible, but it isn't suitable for everyone, as certain health conditions may make it unsafe. Before every session, I review your medical history to make sure breathwork is appropriate for you. If you have a specific health concern, please get in touch and I'll be happy to talk it through before you book.
-
Not at all. Breathwork is just as welcoming for complete beginners as it is for people who've been practising for years.
-
Research into breathwork is growing, with studies linking intentional breathing to:
Reduced stress
Better mood
Improved sleep
Increased focus and mental clarity
Improved Heart Rate Variability
The science is still developing, and breathwork isn't a replacement for medical care, but many people find it a supportive complement.
-
Everyone experiences breathwork differently, and no two sessions are the same. You might notice:
Deep relaxation or calm
Warmth, tingling or subtle sensations in the body
Emotional release, such as tears, laughter or a sense of lightness
Increased clarity or feeling more grounded
A light, floaty feeling
Very little at all, which is completely valid too
Whatever arises is welcome. Each sensation is an invitation to observe, without needing to fix it,
You're encouraged to work at your own pace, and you can slow down, pause or stop whenever you need to.
